Speech & Feeding Caregiver ADRC Workshop

Service Description

This is an in-person OR online course. You will receive a zoom link upon sign up so that if you cannot attend in person, you will be able to view it from home. It is run by a speech language pathologist of Speak Your Legacy Inc.: Voted Long Island's Best Speech Pathology Company. A team experienced with Certified Dementia Practitioners and hosted by Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center (ADRC) at 200 Carleton Ave, East Islip, NY 11730 It is $30 for individual caregivers and $40 for couples. The course will instruct caregivers on how to navigate speech and feeding difficulties and warning signs, teach strategies to optimize activities of daily living, and provide resources to come alongside you to navigate day to day communication and feeding challenges. It is a course that all loved ones and caregivers of a person with Alzheimer's disease or dementia will not want to miss!
